Massachusetts Farm Energy Program
The Massachusetts Farm Energy Program (MFEP) is a joint project of Berkshire-Pioneer Resource Conservation & Development Area and the Massachusetts Dept. of Agricultural Resources, developed with prior support from the USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service.
MFEP provides assistance to farmers and agricultural businesses to:
- increase on-farm energy conservation and efficiency
- promote alternative and renewable energy strategies for on-farm energy generation
- reduce agricultural greenhouse gas emissions
